Sending this message out, from the depths of my soul.
This hour, so weak, I reach out in the dark,
Knowing dawn's light will ignite regret's spark.
Yet, I must speak now, while courage is near,
For silence is my greatest, most paralyzing fear.
Once, a nudge from you could have changed my fate,
I'd have moved mountains, before it was too late.
But that moment passed, our chances grew thin,
Goodness lost, in the silence of what might have been.
Emotions and memories, an endless cascade,
Like waves, they come, relentless, unswayed.
Yet here I am, yielding once more to the night,
A solitary figure, shooting arrows at the light.
